Graduating from Texas A&M University is a huge milestone — one built on tradition, hard work, and a lot of Aggie pride! So, if you're just now on the search for some photos to really celebrate the occasion- you're in the right place! Let's go over planning for photos: what you need to do now, what you need to do before your shoot, and what you should expect!
Why Senior Photos at A&M Are So Special
Texas A&M is full of iconic locations that carry deep meaning for Aggies. Your senior photoshoot should tell the story of your time here! From campus traditions to architectural landmarks, A&M offers a timeless backdrop that makes your photos feel personal, meaningful, and very "Aggie"-- if that's what you're looking for!
You are a senior at A&M this year and think you want some photos to celebrate the occasion... what to do first?
Obviously, you need a photographer! Of course, I'm going to recommend you book those with me!! But there are a ton of photographers in our area.. all skill levels, all styles. Take a good look at all the work of the photographers you are considering and choose the one with the most photos that look like a finished product you would be happy with!
I'd love to be your photographer for your senior photoshoot! I even have payment plans as an option, if that sounds like something you're interested in.
It's definitely best to book before or by February if you're needing spring photos!
After you get a photographer booked, make a plan! Here are the best locations for Senior Grad Photos at Texas A&M:
If you book with me or a photographer like me, you get several locations included in your gallery AND multiple outfits. People usually do a nice formal outfit for some locations, then one or two casual outfits. Or one formal outfit + cap and gown, one game day outfit/school spirit, then one casual outfit!
Some of the most popular and meaningful spots for senior photos at A&M include:
The Administration Building: This building is a class for grad photos- it's beautiful and timeless, a central landmark on campus, and makes for perfect photos.

In front of Kyle Field: A given location for Aggies that want to memorialize their school spirit!

Aggie Park: This location has so much to offer... great bridges, benches, rocks near the pond, the ring, etc. It's prime real estate for senior photoshoots!

And don't forget- you can TOTALLY include your dog in your Aggie Senior Photos!
The building for your major: This is self explanatory. Getting photos in front of your major’s building captures the place where your hard work, growth, and future career all came together!

A field near campus: Just to get a few clean & simple photographs to add to your gallery.. have one final outfit change and get photos in a field right at sunset to finish off your grad shoot!

Bravely Studio (off-campus option) – Also ideal for clean, modern portraits to pair with your campus photos! Choosing a mix of campus landmarks and studio images gives you variety while still honoring your A&M experience. This is a great option if you want to start your photoshoot earlier in the day and need a place with great lighting.
